During your last semester of school, you can feel a multitude of emotions ranging from happy to freaking out. Seeing as this is my last semester at Winona State University I felt it was fitting to show how this last semester is making me feel.
1.     The first thing I feel is relieved. I have worked so hard for the last 5 years and it’s a wonderful feeling to know that I am coming to the end of my journey! Â
2.     The next thing I’m feeling is freaked out. I’m freaked out because it’s hard to believe that in three short months I will be putting on my cap and gown, receiving my diploma, and venturing out into the real world. It will be hard knowing that I won’t have college to fall back on, but I think the thing that freaks me out the most is finding a job.   Â
3.     Third is a sense of accomplishment. It’s hard to believe that you will ever finish college because you know it can be a long and tiring road. There can be many bumps in the road that may discourage you and make you feel like you will never finish. It may take you longer than expected (like it did for me), but once you get there you will feel so proud of yourself.    Â
4. Â Â Â Â The last thing that I feel is love. Love for all of the people that I have met throughout my college years, and love for my friends and family that have guided me along the way. Without the help of all the amazing people that I have in my life I wouldn’t be eagerly awaiting graduation.
As summer ended and this semester started, it’s crazy to think that three months isn’t all that far away. I’m excited for what this semester will bring and even more excited for the future.
