Drake Bell Says He Has No Hard Feelings About Not Being Invited to Josh Peck’s Wedding

It’s always upsetting when we find out that the actors from our favorite childhood TV shows haven’t stayed in touch, but what’s even worse is seeing them feud so publicly on social media. Drake Bell and Josh Peck of Drake & Josh were the latest stars to have a social media fight, seen when Drake went off on Josh on Twitter because he wasn’t invited to Josh’s wedding last month.

“When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear,” Drake wrote in now-deleted tweets. “True colors have come out today. Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I’ll miss you brotha.”

The boys’ former costar Miranda Cosgrove awkwardly sidestepped questions about the wedding at a recent event, and Josh’s Grandfathered costar John Stamos even poked fun at the feud on his own Instagram account. Needless to say, this was definitely becoming one of the most random yet heartbreaking celeb friendship splits ever.

Now, Drake is stepping forward and insisting that all is well again with Josh. Um, what?

PEOPLE reports that Drake said “there are no hard feelings” about being left off the guest list. “He’s been my best friend for 18 years,” he told PEOPLE. “In all honestly, we talk all the time, we’ve been talking. I was just expecting
”

Although he admitted he didn’t expect his outburst to receive so much attention online, Drake wasn’t a fan of how people went after Josh afterwards. “That’s my bro you know?” he shared. “It’s kind of one of those things where you’re fighting with him on the playground, but if someone else says something, you’re like, ‘Hey, I can say that but you can’t!’”

Well, all brothers can have some pretty intense fights sometimes. I’m still waiting for Josh’s opinion on this fiasco, but it’s good to know that Drake has forgiven him.
