When Pitch Perfect came along in 2012, a stellar combination of college life and a cappella that I never knew I needed became my new favorite flick. Now five years later, the trailer for the hit franchise’s latest film, Pitch Perfect 3, has been released, Hello Giggles reports.
The trailer opens with the Barden Bellas being relatable af in their post-grad struggle, which seems amplified thanks to the a cappella competition commentators following them around and waiting for them to fail. Miserable without a cappella and each other in their lives, the Bellas reunite to perform at a USO event in Europe.
Of course, what would be a Pitch Perfect film be without some conflict with another performing group? Because the USO event allows groups that play instruments, the Bellas find themselves at an unfamiliar disadvantage for their performances.
Pitch Perfect 3 opens in theaters on Dec. 22, 2017.
