When Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabello left the group in December 2016, fans could have never expected the simple magic of her impromptu solo cover of Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber’s “Despacito.” Cabello covered the song on Capital FM on Wednesday, and although the clip is only a few verses, it’s definitely worth listening to over and over.
The Cuban-American singer did a fantastic job remembering all of the lyrics, especially after that time Bieber couldn’t recall some lines and merely improvised with “blah blahs.” Sure, you can argue that Camila is a native Spanish speaker, but I’m still singing “all the Starbucks lovers” in “Blank Space,” so that argument doesn’t really cut it for me.

All I have to say is Camila has the voice of an angel and this cover is a gift. Now why can’t we have a new collaboration? Fonsi/Cabello or Bieber/Cabello, I’m not picky!
