Vappu is gone and we’ve all survived the hangover it left behind, but spring-related festivities aren’t over yet! Flora’s Day, a student tradition dating back to the 1800’s, will be celebrated by students and staff of the University on Friday the 12th on the Viikki Campus. Even though the event tends to get overshadowed by Vappu, it’s still definitely worth checking out: Flora’s Day 2017 will feature music, good food and light-hearted academia in the form of science tours. This year’s event will also feature a ball pit and a bouncy castle which is probably why it’s already fully booked, but you can get your name on the waiting list here. And if you don’t get lucky with the guest list, you can also stalk the event on social media where the official hashtag is #FLORA2017.
