“If it all existed in a vaccum I would play that character until my dying day.”
Gilmore Girls fans around the world have been dying to know every little detail about the “final four words” from the finale of the hit show’s revival season. However, our beloved Lorelai and Rory might have crushed our dreams after recent interviews regarding the potential new season went public.
“I don’t know if there’s a need to do more [episodes].” Graham stated in during an Emmys panel last Sunday morning. “I would never want it to feel like we overstayed our welcome…” Bledel joined her on-screen mother and bff during the Sunday panel telling moderator Michael Ausiello from TVLine, “I don’t know. It’s such an unknown…”
For the record, the dynamic duo wants nothing more than to see their characters live on, they simply do not know if it is the right idea. Alexis Bledel told her audience “I’m just interested in telling a story that is dynamic and that I sort of relate to and can hook into.”
Do not lose all faith, people! Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos allegedly told the U.K. Press Association that there are very preliminary talks of a re-revival due to the success of the former season. Bottom line, somebody needs to tell us the truth. So, Rory, was it the Wookie or not?!
