What made you choose Laurier?
I chose Laurier pretty much because it was the one school that wasn’t too far away from home, but not close enough that I would have to commute and visit my fam regularly. I also knew a few people from my hometown who came here, which made the choice a lot easier.
What is your favourite thing about Laurier?
My favourite thing…that’s really hard for me because it always gets better each year, but I guess due to it just passing it would have to be St Paddy’s and how many people came out for it made it a blessed time. That was one of the many things that got me excited about coming to Laurier.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment, I guess, would be teaching my baby brother how to dance. I know it’s sort of corny but my little bro is one of the greatest kids, I know even though he’s annoying, he is still a blessing to me. I am happy to be watching him grow up and become a pretty great guy someday.
Do you have a job?
Yes, I currently work in Wilf’s Kitchen.
What’s it like working there?
Working at Wilf’s is actually one of the better jobs I have had. I love all of the people that I have gotten to meet while working there. There’s a great group of people making the job even that much more fun.
Are you involved at Laurier?
I guess you could say I am! I am currently in 6 clubs, working at Wilf’s, and managing a full course load. I am currently in Sigma Chi, Laurier Breakdancing Club as a co-president, Laurier Fashion Society as a model, Golden Speakers Club, ABS as a General Member and Poetry Club as well. I love all that I am getting to do within Laurier and wouldn’t change a thing.
What is your favourite bar and why?
Almost all my friends know I go to Phil’s almost religiously because of the fact it’s just so cheap and I know what I get from it. Phil’s is the closest thing to being my favourite bar here because of the amount of people that go.
What is your favourite type of music?
Rap, especially since More Life dropped Yeah Yeah.
