Spring has sprung! Here are some of the coolest trends to try as the warmer weather hits.Â
1. Statement Tees
With the current political climate, people have a lot to say. Many have turned to fashion to express their thoughts and to promote certain ideas. Activist chic is the latest trend, and a statement tee would certainly be an excellent staple in your spring wardrobe.

2. Cropped Jeans with Distressed Ankles
It can be a bit chilly in the early spring months—before you bring out the shorts and skirts, invest in some cropped jeans! Frayed ankles on cropped jeans are everywhere right now, and the distressed look makes simple jeans more ~edgy~ and interesting.

3. Mules
Loafers were a big fall trend, and it looks like the mule will take over for spring. It’s an easy, fun, and breathable shoe—perfect for transitioning into warmer weather.
4. Track Pants
Athleisure was a huge trend in 2016, and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. Track pants will continue the theme of fashion meets comfort this spring. This versatile and comfortable pant can go with anything, and its lightweight feel will be a great alternative to leggings in the warmer months to come.

5. Banker Stripes
Banker Stripes were everywhere at various spring fashion week shows. They can be seen on basic blouses, off the shoulder tops, and even pants. These stripes seem to have become the new neutral, making it a very versatile trend to add to your wardrobe.Â
6. Sneakers
The sneaker trend has got to be my favorite in that they are comfortable, easy and fun. The classic white sneaker was very popular all throughout 2016, and they aren’t going anywhere for a long time. However, a wider array of sneakers has emerged into the fashion scene, of which will certainly steal the show this spring. Sock sneakers, embroidered sneakers, pom pom sneakers, and strap on sneakers are just some examples of how this trend has evolved to be more interesting.
7. Artistic Vibes
Bright colors, cool patterns and artsy vibes will be a major spring trend. Whether it’s a bold shoe, a patterned scarf or a mix of vibrant colors, spring fashion this year is sure to be unique. People are getting more creative with what they are wearing, not to mention bolder. I am definitely here for it.Â

8. Pink!
I honestly can’t remember the last time I wore pink. But seeing that the color was everywhere at various spring fashion week shows, it’s about to make a major comeback. Magenta, baby pink, blush, and fuschia will take over this spring and I can’t help but feel giddy about it. Â
9. Vintage Flowers
Flowers in spring—no surprise here. But a vintage twist has been taken on this spring classic for this year. Big, embroidered flowers are on everything now, even shoes and pants adding a very cool old-timey flare to any outfit.Â
