So here is some fantastic news for FIU’s 2017 Freshmen Class:
Our university will begin to offer a new tuition program beginning this year which promises to pay 100% of tuition and fees for students who qualify. This innovative and beneficial plan has been labeled as the “Golden Promise” which aims to eliminate any financial barriers a student may encounter. What does this mean for FIU? I believe this outstanding initiative to better facilitate our students’ financial necessities is something to be proud of.
Most importantly, what are the requirements? Students must apply to the Federal Student Aid (FASFA) but FIU awards “priority” to those who have already submitted their applications prior to March 1st. It is expected that about 1,200 freshmen will benefit from the program in 2017. Click Here to learn more.
