Justine Steiner is a sophomore at UNL and an international business major, as well as our beloved campus co-correspondent. Here’s your chance to get to know her a little bit more.Â
HC: What is your dream career?Â
Justine: My future dream career is to be a #girlboss who travels the world!Â
HC: What’s your best college experience so far?Â
JS: Husker Football game day! There’s just nothing like itÂ
HC: Coffee order?
JS: I can’t do coffee unless there is an ungodly amount of sugar in it. I usually opt for an iced chai latte instead.Â
HC: If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life, which would it be?
JS: Alice in Wonderland. I could watch Alice’s adventures over and over again.Â
HC: What has been your favorite class that you’ve taken at UNL so far?
JS: I’m currently taking Management, which I really like, and I also really enjoyed Managerial Accounting. However, I took European Art History my freshman year and it definitely still ranks as my #1 favorite.
HC: What’s the biggest lesson you’ve taken away from your college experience thus far?
JS: College has taught me how to be persistent. When you work hard, the results show.Â
HC: What’s your advice for incoming freshman who are pursuing your major?
JS: Take a language. Not only is it just downright awesome to be able to say you can speak another language, it will also help you out tons when it comes to finding a job.
HC: what’s the best thing about Her Campus?
JS: I love meeting and getting to know all the girls involved. They inspire me to bring out my creative side.Â
HC: What’s the best thing about UNL?
JS: It’s the perfect size for me: not too big, not too small. I love seeing familiar faces but I also love having the chance to meet tons of new people.Â
HC: What are you looking forward to most after graduation?
JS: Traveling. My sisters and I (who will graduate high school the same time I graduate college) are planning a backpacking trip through Asia!Â
