We’re happy to add Kathleen Greer to our lineup of seniors in our Senior Series this week! Kathleen is from Annandale, Virginia and has a passion for elementary education. Read on to find out more about her!Â
Major: Psychology
Minor (if you have one): Education and Spanish
Favorite Professor at Clark: Professor Seale in the education department. He is so knowledgeable about schools and is such a kind soul.
Favorite Class at Clark: Field Projects with Professor Seale. It was my first experience working in an elementary school and I was placed with an awesome third grade class at Woodland. This class confirmed that I wanted to be a teacher.
Favorite Spot to Study on Campus and Why: The tables on the 4th floor of the library. It’s quiet but you can still sit with friends and spread out. It’s especially great when it’s snowing and you can look out the big windows!
Favorite Bistro Snack: Sushi!!
What has been your favorite thing about going to school at Clark?
The friends I’ve made. Clark is full of so many wonderful people and I’m blessed to have made some great best friends!
What will you miss most about Clark?
Living within walking distance of all my best friends
What clubs and activities were you involved with on campus?
I was on e-board for Student Activities Board, a DJ for ROCU and I do the mentoring program at St. Peter’s Church across the street from Clark.Â
What are your best words of wisdom for underclassmen?
They say the people you meet during orientation aren’t going to be your best friends but sometimes they are so don’t count them out (s/o to the bff’s I met in Week One!)
What are your plans post-graduation?
I am going to be staying at Clark for another year for the 5th year program in Elementary Education!
Thanks, Kathleen!Â
