Name:Â Sabrina Araullo
Age:Â 20
Year:Â Junior
Major: Public Relations with a minor in Public and Professional Writing
Hometown:Â Wayne, NJ
Spirit Animal: That cat from the heavy breathing meme
Comfort Food:Â Hands down country fried chicken from Cracker Barrel. It’s my happy place.Â
HCM: What brought you to Montclair State?Â
SA: It actually wasn’t my first choice, at all, but it made the most financial sense for me and my family at the time. It sucked at first, but your college experience is what you make out of it and I’m happy to be where I am now. Plus, I get to see my dog every day so that’s definitely a plus. God, I love my dog.Â
Â
HCM: What’s your favorite thing about MSU?Â
SA: I’d say my favorite thing about MSU is the support system and available resources here on campus. It’s incredible how many opportunities you can find to grow as a person and young professional. Also, the bagels aren’t bad either.Â
Â
HCM: What satisfies your soul?Â
SA:Â Those rare moments when you get an hour or even a few minutes to yourself just to relax and read a book, have a cup of coffee, and listen to good music. Also watching Netflix with my dog. Definitely watching Netflix with my dog.Â
Â
HCM: What’s inspires you?Â
SA:Â Everything! I think it’s important to keep your eyes and mind open because a lot of the time you’ll find inspiration when you least expect it. Aesthetically-pleasing motivational quotes on Pinterest work pretty well too.Â
Â
HCM: Where do you see yourself post-grad?Â
SA:Â Sitting behind my desk in Midtown working on a crisis communication or branding strategy for a high profile client while wearing a pencil skirt and sipping my iced soy chai latte. That’s more specific than I intended, but I’d like to emphasize the pencil skirt portion.Â
