The topic of leggings as pants has been debated for quite some time. Some say that they should only be worn with a long enough top or on lazy days when you are not planning to leave your room. However, I’d like to challenge this. Â
Â
I am completely obsessed with leggings. When I workout, I only wear leggings and will wear them as often as I can to class. Now that the athleisure look is gaining popularity, leggings are starting to be seen as more appropriate to wear outside of the gym. There are so many stylish ways to dress leggings to be comfy and still look chic.Â
Â
They don’t even have to look casual! Pair solid leggings with riding boots and a sweater or button down, and you will look put together, all while feeling like you are wearing sweatpants. If you are already a legging lover who has a dozen pairs of black leggings stuffed in your closet, try to branch out a little. Look at ones with fun details such as mesh panels, stripes, and different lengths and rises. For those of you that are extra daring, try out a pair of galaxy or tribal print leggings!
Â
Leggings can be found in practically every store, ranging in price from $10 to over $100. Always keep the quality in mind when shopping, because sometimes cheap also means see-through.Â
