The perfect mixture of quirky and stylish are proper words to describe fourth year fashion merchandising major Sarah Crawford. Sarah has a unique take on personal style and goes about fashion with an unapologetic disregard for societal norms.
After changing her major from art history to fashion merchandising, this fashionista attended a conference for Athens, Georgia, creative entrepreneurs. This conference inspired her to hone in on her creativity which in part led to the creation of her humorous fashion and lifestyle blog, The Fluf.  “I started with ‘Style by Sarah’ then I started getting more experimental with my style,” Sarah said.
Sarah soon realized she wanted a change, but just wasn’t sure exactly what to change the blog name to. With help from her brother, she decided on “The Fluf.” This unique name has an interesting and meaningful origin.
“Stereotypical you think about things like fashion and movies and music as superficial things in life that aren’t that important, but really that’s what we all work for and live for. There is kind of more to ‘The Fluf’ in your life than people think,” said Sarah. She showcases her style and all things that life has to offer on “The Fluf.” Â
Sarah has many style influences including the famous creator of manrepeller.com, Leandra Medine. “I think [Man Repeller] alone has inspired a whole generation of blogs coming up,” said Sarah.
“I call it a lifestyle blog because I post not only about outfits, but I travel a lot. There are also playlists for every single blog post because music is one of my main passions and source of inspiration,” said Sarah.
Sarah is a big fan of Kanye West and loves what he is doing with his label, Yeezy.
“I find myself typically being inspired by musicians because I think they are such creative people and they are not necessarily in the fashion industry,so they are always doing there own thing,” she said.
