Muggles and wizards rejoice—your first look at the Harry Potter palette is finally here! Storybook Cosmetics, the company run by self-described fangirls dedicated to making products for other fangirls—who teased a Game of Thrones collection—announced in December 2016 that it would be releasing a Harry Potter palette.
Let’s start with the packaging: this palette isn’t going to ~blend~ in with the rest of the ones on your shelf. It is shaped like an actual storybook, disguised to look just like a magical textbook. The intricate label is made with gold foil, to ensure that it looks just as important as it is. Let’s be honest, this “book” looks like it could blend into any old-school library—meaning that if the situation ever arises when you need to do your makeup on campus, this would definitely come in handy.
For those of you who have been impatiently trying to cast a spell to see into the future, just for a sneak peak at the inside of this book, the time has finally arrived. The palette contains 12 jewel-toned shades—all of which are inspired by Hogwarts itself—as well as a full-sized mirror.
There’s still no word yet on the details of this palette, such as the price and when it will be released (that spell to see into the future might actually come in handy). However, if the past Harry Potter items from this store, such as the Wizard Wand brushes and the Quill eyeliner, are any indication, when the time comes, this palette will disappear faster than you can say “evanesco.”
