1. What is your favourite thing about Queen’s?
I like the community and the atmosphere; it’s a very close-knit environment. All the buildings are also really close together, so it feels like very inclusive. I also really like Kingston in general. It’s a perfect town to go exploring and of course I love the food!
2. Would you rather have Smoke’s poutine or a four-piece from Lazy?
Smoke’s poutine, obviously.
3. Who is your favourite artist/band?
Dallas Smith, I love country music.
4. What is one thing on your bucket list?
I really want to go whitewater rafting. I like getting out of my comfort zone.
5. Where would you want your next travel destination to be and why?
I really want to go to Eastern Asia or really anywhere in Asia. I’ve travelled a lot in North America and Europe so I want to explore the rest of the world.
6. What is something that surprises people about you?
I think that people are surprised to know that I like 80’s rock and punk rock.
7. What is one thing you wish you could tell you first year self?
So many things! The biggest thing I wish I could tell my first year self is to push yourself to do things that you think you can do later. For example, joining a club or sport, don’t wait until second year, get involved now and meet new people.
8. Who inspires you?
I know this sounds cheesy but my biggest inspirations are actually my parents. My dad has worked so hard his whole life and my mom raised four kids and still managed to reach her own goals. The two of them really motivate me.
