Sophomore Larae Keso is an outstanding example of what it means to be a daughter of Christ. She is passionate about everything she does and has a heart full of love. It was a pleasure to have a heart-to-heart chat about what Lope life means to her.
Larae is from sunny Phoenix, Arizona. She is pursuing a degree in Education. She is constantly pouring love out for children; this is evident when you see her at Canyon Kids. As a leader of Canyon Kids, she is dedicated to waking up early every Saturday to putting a smile on kids’ faces. Â
Larae’s favorite part about GCU is the Christian atmosphere. Since the campus is relatively small, it is easy to make new friends. She sets an example of living college life to the fullest. She currently works at the Student Contact Center as a Junior Counselor. Her favorite part about the job is that she has the opportunity to encourage students to get one step ahead in pursuing an education at Grand Canyon. She definitely reveals the mission of our school, which is to find your purpose.
Her parents and brother are alumni of GCU. The one thing that she values the most is spending quality time with loved ones.
During her free time, she loves to partake in classic Arizona outdoor activities such as hiking and swimming. She is always willing to explore new places… did I mention that she has been to all 50 states?Â
Her positive outlook on life inspires others to live life to the fullest. I have faith that she will inspire others no matter where life takes her. With a promising smile on her face and a head held high, she can accomplish anything through Christ who strengthens her.Â
