Here we go again.  Group projects, presentations, essays, and tests are the only thing separating me from Christmas Break. Since it is the busiest time of the semester here are 10 tips to get you through the finals.

  1. Study Snacks

Finding that perfect study snack is key for those long hours you’ll spend in the library. I know that it’s the popcorn and Cheez-It crackers that get me through the exhausting processes of exam prep.

  1. Meditate

We meditate in one of my classes and it is life changing. Take some time to relax and forget about the stresses of the next few weeks. Afterwards, you’ll be ready to hit the books again!

  1. Call your mom or dad

We all know a call home makes everything better.

  1. Take a deep breath

Just remember, you’ll have an entire month to recover. Take a deep breath, you can do this.

  1. Make lists

Write out your schedule, it will help you manage your time, and when you’ve completed a task crossing it off your list is a pretty satisfying feeling.

  1. Don’t forget to sleep (at least a little bit)

I know it probably feels like there is no time for sleep, but it’s definitely necessary. Without it, you won’t perform to the best of your ability so be sure to manage your time. Especially the night before a final exam!

  1. Save all your Netflix binge watching for Christmas break

I know, this is tough. But trust me, it will feel that much more rewarding when you’re at home snuggled up in bed watching Netflix all day without that huge to-do list haunting you.

  1. Set your phone to “do not disturb”

Start getting rid of all distractions as soon as possible, you’ll need every minute you can get.

  1. COFFEE

Well maybe it’s just the coffee lover in me, but I know that a hot cup of joe is always the answer for reenergizing.

  1. Take study breaks

So maybe binge watching a Netflix series isn’t the best idea but it’s okay to watch a quick episode of New Girl or The Office every now and then. Listen to music, go for a walk, anything! Just be sure to take some time for yourself.

Best of luck to everyone as the semester comes to an end!
