Here in the 617 there are endless things to do in the (for some) dreaded winter.  This city is filled with different things to occupy your mind instead of focusing on the cold.  Let’s explore a couple different options.

Right here in the Boston Commons we have the lovely Frog Pond Ice skating rink.  What is more perfect than skating in the Commons especially if there is a little dusting of snow?  Admission is $6 and skate rentals are $12 and afterwards you can enjoy a nice cup of hot cocoa!

Maybe you aren’t the best ice skater, don’t worry there are other options! On a cold day, check out the Top of the Hub skywalk! It’s $13 for students for a priceless view of this beautiful city.  Just make sure to call ahead if there is bad weather, the skywalk not be opened.

Okay so maybe you don’t like heights, there is still one more thing you could do.  The Boston Public Library is one of the best libraries in the whole world.  Lucky for us it is only a 15-minute walk or just a T ride away!  Check this place out on a chilly Sunday when you have loads of studying or homework today- you are bound to get it done.
