To get an insiders advice on hair and beauty tips, we conducted an interview with Brooke Baptiste, a 20-year-old hairstylist and make-up artist. We asked some questions about hair and make-up ideas specifically for collegiette girls, so make sure to take some notes!
 1. HC: What make-up is low in cost but still a good brand?
   Brooke: “Maybelline!”
 2. HC: What’s the most practical everyday hairstyle for collegiette girls that still looks attractive?
Brooke: “A French Braid or half-up/half-down ponytail.”
  3. HC: Do you recommend girls dying their hair or sticking with their natural color?
Brooke: “It depends on how you feel about your hair now; if you think you won’t be able to maintain getting touch-ups done, don’t color it. But if you’re up for it definitely do it, especially    if it’s something you’ve been wanting for a long time!”
 4. HC: What’s your favorite iconic hairstyle?
Brooke: “I love Blake Lively’s hair (no matter how she wears it)!”
 5. HC: What make-up do you use regularly?
Brooke: “I use a tinted moisturizer, concealer, blush, eyeliner, and mascara.”
 6. HC: What’s your favorite makeup remover?
Brooke: “Micellar Water from Simple Skin.”
 7. HC: What are your go-to drugstore hair and make-up products?
Brooke: “I don’t buy hair products from the drugstore too much, but Tresemeé hair spray is nice! I like CoverGirl mascara a lot.”
  8. HC:Do you have a daily skin care routine?
Brooke: “Honestly, I don’t have a daily skin care routine. I just use make-up wipes, micellar water and Neosporin on any break outs!”
 9. HC: What shampoo and conditioner brand would you recommend for college girls?
Brooke: “If it has to be cheap, use anything that’s sulfate and Paraben free! Those chemicals are REALLY bad for your hair.”
10. HC:Â What make-up would you wear to a college homecoming dance?
Brooke: “I would wear foundation, bronzer, blush, eyeliner, eye shadow and lipstick.”
