Election Day falls on a Tuesday so it might be a stressful time wanting to know the results of the election while keeping up with schoolwork and extracurricular activities. Watching the election doesn’t have to be boring, you can always make it a social gathering with friends and enjoy each other’s company. Here are 5 ways you can watch the live stream of the election while enjoying one another’s company.

1. Pizza night with friends
Gather up at someone’s apartment and make it a fun social by watching the election and ordering pizza! This is a great opportunity to spend with friends while keeping up with current political events.
2. Extracurricular socials
Get in contact with an organization you are involved with on campus and seek an opportunity to have a social to watch the election. Whether it be at someone’s apartment or in a classroom, you will get to know the opinion of other members and perhaps bond over certain political issues.
3. AMC Election Viewing Party
AMC Theaters along with CNN will be streaming the election live in 50 theaters in 25 cities so be sure to find where the closest viewing party will be if you are interested.
4. Get to know your professors
Believe it or not, some professors love interacting with students and hearing about our opinions regarding the upcoming election. If you and a group are friends are very willing, ask to watch the election with your professor, whether they invite you into your home or reserve a space on the campus. This is a great opportunity to establish a network with your professor and learn more each other’s ideas.
5. 2016 Presidential Election Viewing Party at UCLA
Open to the public, the Community Programs Office at UCLA will be live streaming the election at Wilson Plaza and giving out free food. Bring your friends, families, co-workers, etc and enjoy the night watching the election among the UCLA community
