“Halloween is finally here!” That thought ran through many a Wellesley students’ mind this past weekend.
Since Halloween was on a Monday this year, celebrations began Friday night. Although there were a lot of off-campus activities, the Wellesley campus was also brimming with the Halloween spirit. From costume contests to carving pumpkins, there was much to look forward to for the students that chose to enjoy Halloween on campus. On Friday, WZLY hosted UpZide Down at Punch’s Alley where there were lots of food, dancing, and even a Stranger Things photobooth. Then on Saturday, the Shakespeare Society held their annual Haunted House which was free and open to the public. There were also many other events happening this Halloweekend, including Slater’s culture show, music concerts, dance events, and much more.
