The most wonderful time of year is upon us, and getting through Halloween is kind of like getting through your residency. Between crush parties, house parties, work parties & bar crawls, Tallo-ween becomes a week-long charade. Rather than fighting our way through our internships, we will be fighting our way to the crowded bars. Just be sure to hydrate with actual water, eat well and keep Advil nearby. (It’s a beautiful day to save lives, people.)
Asking your bestie(s) to wear a duo costume with you.
You’re too excited to get dressed up and party to get through classes.
Thinking to yourself, “Maybe my costume is TOO revealing.”
Walking into the bar and laughing at all of the unoriginal costumes.
The guy you were talking to goes for the other girl in a blue wig.
Realizing you can do whatever you want because your identity is hidden.
“Can you hold my drink for a sec?”
Being convinced to go to a house party because the bar is too crowded.
Your friends drank way too much. But it’s midnight, and you’re not ready to go home yet.
Your friend is bummed that she didn’t swoop.
You come home to your roommates in your costume from last night.
“What happened last night?”
Your friends when you say, “I don’t know if I can go out for a fourth night in a row.”
Tallo-weekend will be over, but everyone is still going out because Halloween lands on a Monday.
