We all dread it, the time when your parent(s) come to campus. What am I supposed to do with them? Where will we go? Should I take them to the dining hall? (The answer for that is no, by the way) I cannot have my parents sitting in my dorm/suite/apartment with my weird roommates around. These are the questions that go through all of our heads as soon as we know that our parent(s) are coming. The worst is trying to think of places that you all can go off of campus, especially if you are “careless” yourself while you are on campus. But never fear! I am here to guide you through your times of trouble and be your guide to this (sometimes) wonderful place called York. Don’t get me wrong, York is cool but we all have our moments right (remember the clown thing)? So let’s start out with the obvious, places that serve food and the like:
-
Shangrila (if you are in the mood for chinese, it is the best in York)
-
Vito’s Pizza and Beer
-
White Rose
-
GranFalloons
-
Lyndon Diner
-
Various Chain Restaurants
