So nobody really tells you at what age you need to stop trick or treating. When’s it not socially acceptable anymore? Well, since we’re in college, there’s a billion ways to distract yourself from feeling too old to go trick or treating! Spoiler alert: you’re never too old! Here’s a list of things to do in Tallahassee this October to remind yourself that you are young and alive and still fun!
1. Adult Trick Or Treating: Booze Treats
Located at Madison Social right off Gaines, this is one fun way to spend your Halloween that is definitely catered to our age group. We all need some trick or treating in life and on Oct. 31, Madison Social, Centrale and Township Tallahassee (all projects from the MadSo people) will provide booze treats. Join them anytime between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. and bounce around the area.

2. Free Movie Night at the Pumpkin Patch
Come catch a free movie at the pumpkin patch for every Friday in October! Located at Restoration Place Church, 3881 N. Monroe Street, Tallahassee, FL, 32303, this is a great way to get all your friends together and get in the Halloween mood leading up to the big day. If you bring the blankets, they bring the popcorn!
Â
3. Historic Ghost Tour
As advertised in Fun 4 Tally Kids, “In downtown Tallahassee with lively performances held annually each October and year-round for pre-formed group activity tours. Be led by costumed guides to places said to be haunted in Florida’s Capital City and to Florida’s old public burying ground. Meet characters from the past who tell their tales of woe. Startling, yet lighthearted, all tours conclude at Old City Cemetery. You do not go in the cemetery, but get close enough. The ghost walking tours are generally forty-five minutes; slight hills along the tour route.” Bring your potential bae and let him/her comfort you as you experience some Tallahassee ghost history!
