We’ve all been there at one time or another: a failed relationship. I talked to 4 girls and asked them their worst relationship moment, and I don’t think things could have gotten worse for them.Â
“So, I have this ex from high school who I still kept in touch with. I also recently broke up with another guy who I still have feelings for. I guess you could say I still kind of talk to them both…a few months ago, I was texting both of them…it was a Saturday night. Being that my town is really small, everyone basically goes to the same local bar on the weekends. Well, that was the wrong night. I suddenly got a text from my high school ex; it was a picture of him and my most recent ex at the bar together in a selfie. They both had up their middle finger and wrote “Good try…” I haven’t spoke to either of them since that night.”
“My worst relationship failure was definitely being cheated on. Except my boyfriend didn’t come forward and tell me…I had to take matters into my own hands. On a Friday night about a year ago, my boyfriend and I decided to go out with our friends for the night. Since we both go to the same college, we usually spend the weekends together, but this particular weekend, we decided to do our our thing, which was a big mistake. At 2 a.m. my boyfriend told me he was going to sleep, which is an unusual time for him to go to sleep on the weekend. I became suspicious, and since we both lived on campus, I could easily walk over to his dorm. I proceeded to his room and knocked on the door. No answer. I knocked a few more times, the knocks getting progressively louder. He must be sleeping, I thought. Well, just as I was about to go back to my room, I heard the most disturbing sound. A moan! I could not believe what I was hearing. At that moment, I knocked as hard as I could and began screaming his name and cursing him out to open the door. Finally, after about 5 minutes, he opened the door. There was no hiding what he had just done. Sadly, I had to look at this disgrace of a girl in a robe with her hair and makeup all messed up. The rest is history from there…I broke up with him right then and there and never spoke to him after that.”
“I had the greatest boyfriend–so I thought–my junior and senior year of high school and freshman year of college. We were completely in love, and talked about everything together, including our future. Things could not have been better between us. In the beginning of freshman year, I noticed he was acting different. He didn’t seem like he was as into me as he used to be. This obviously bothered me, so I talked with him, and unfortunately he said he was going through some things and wanted some “space”. So, we decided to take a break. That same night, I looked at his Snap Story and saw him in a selfie with this girl from his college who he said he was “friends” with…meanwhile, he was kissing her on the cheek in the photo. Yeah, you get the rest, he said he wanted “space” and wanted to take a break just to be with the other girl. I was the best thing that ever happened to him, because he is no longer with the rebound.””Last year, my boyfriend and I visited my best friend at college for the weekend. Of course we went to the bars and had a great time…until we got back to her place. I was woken by a sound at 3 a.m.  that I choose not to remember. I hate talking about this so I would like to leave out details. Lets just say my best friend at the time isnt my best friend anymore, and my boyfriend at the time wasn’t my boyfriend after that night…”
