7 New Beauty Products to Try on Your Next Target Run

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at CU Boulder chapter.

Late night Target runs are inevitable. The next time you’re there in your favorite sweatpants and your hair is in a messy bun, check out some of these goodies.

  1. Pixi Glow Tonic: Are you toning your face after you moisturize? You definitely should be. Your skin can be stripped of moisture after cleansing so a good toner will help restore the PH balance as well as removing any left over dirt or oil that you might have missed. It also has an amazing scent, this toner has so much hype around it for a reason.
  2. Acure Brightening Facial scrub:  This product has done a great job unclogging my pores. I love Acure because their products are free of sulfates and harmful preservatives! I exfoliate 2-3 time a week to help eliminate yucky build up.
  3. NYX Butter glosses: These are probably my all time favorite drug store buy. I always have one of these in my purse. Not only are they super pigmented, but they are so smooth! Hence, the name. Seriously, if you’re a lip gloss kind of gal like I am, try these. My favorite shades are Creme Brûlée and Angel Food Cake.
  4. L’Oreal Paris Matte Infallible Foundation Pro Matte foundation: Drug store foundations can be tricky! I decided to try this randomly one day and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It is a matte foundation, which is good for people with oily skin. It has medium coverage so it isn’t too light nor heavy, perfect for everyday wear.
  5. Maybelline NY Instant Age Rewind Concealer: I hardly ever find a concealer from any drugstore brands that I enjoy using, but I must say, this one is worth giving a shot. I like to keep this one in my bag because it is a great brightener when your under eyes start looking a bit dull throughout the day. If you enjoy using concealers that are matte I would highly recommend this one.
  6. Soap and Glory’s Flake Away Body Polish: I love everything from Soap and Glory. How cute is their packaging!? Exfoliate 2-3 times a week to keep soft skin, especially with winter approaching. This is also super important if you are artificially tan like I do.
  7. Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer: Speaking of tans! It can get pricey, I’ve done everything from tanning beds to spray tans. I know we all like to keep a summer glow year round! I love St Tropez gradual everyday tanning lotion but a great alternative is Jergens Natural glow everyday moisturizer. It has a clean scent and does an amazing job giving you the right amount of color.
