Meet Morgan Richman.
Â
Morgan and I met exactly two years ago on Wiliams College’s nature appreciation day called Mountian Day. We were puny little seniors in high school and didn’t know what was waiting for us in the world, despite a chance at playing collegiate volleyball and adventuring down the pre-med track for the next eight years. I asked Morgan a few questions while we were waiting in line at 82′.
Â
N- Hi Morgan! What did you do this summer?
M- “I interned in a genomics lab that looked at the regeneration of lizard tales, and I went on a really cool trip around Arizona, my home state.”
What was the coolest thing you saw on your trips in Arizona?
“I went up to the Grand Canyon, which was pretty awesome, it was absolutely beautiful.”
What’s your favorite Lickety flavor?
“That’s a tough question. I’m torn between purple cow and cookie combustion, java chip is also really good.”
Eco or Grab n Go?
“Eco, cause I’m a nerd. And science.”
Speaking of science, what is your major?
“Don’t know yet, possibly bio, also interested in Neuroscience, but I’m pre-med so…that’s where I’m starting.”
Where is one place you want to live in ten years?
“No clue, haha, haven’t thought that far ahead. A dream of mine is that at some point in my life I want to go to the great barrier reef in Australia.”
What is your favorite dining hall?
“Driscoll.”
What is your favorite cuisine?
“Thai food.”
Why is thai food your favorite?
“Because it’s a really cool mix of spicy and sweet and also savory. Panang chicken is my favorite dish.”
Great! Thanks for letting me interview you today, Morgan, is there anything else you would like to say?
“…I like turtles.”
