What’s your favorite thing about the college?
Definitely the amazing friends I’ve had the chance to make here. And also Tucker Hall and the entire English department.

What are you involved in on campus?
I’m a sister of Alpha Chi Omega, I am the Tournament Director and a team member for W&M Mock Trial, and I am president of Her Campus!

What’s your favorite thing about Her Campus?
I love the freedom and flexibility of Her Campus. You are given the freedom to write about anything and develop your voice and style without being pushed to produce content every week. I think that makes Her Campus a really accessible and enjoyable writing platform. Also, our team is super close and I just love hanging out with y’all.

How did you get involved in all of these awesome organizations?
Honestly, I just signed up for about a million listerservs at the giant club fair during orientation, went to a lot of interesting meetings, and picked what I was interested in from there. While I was signing up for initial listservs at the club fair, I definitely pushed myself out of my comfort zone by signing up for things I hadn’t done in high school, and lo and behold, these new and different things I decided to try are the clubs I’m still involved with today.

What piece of advice would you give to TWAMPs who want to ~run the world~ like you?
Take some time to yourself, and remember to have fun. I tend to over-commit myself all the time and end up super stressed in Swem at all hours of the night, which is not the most enjoyable or healthy experience. While I definitely recommend getting involved and trying new things, remember that you need to take a break every once in a while.

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned here at W&M?
You are the determinant of your own success and happiness. Other people matter and contribute, but at the end of the day you have the power to make your college experience and life what you want it to be. And don’t forget to be confident in your decisions and trust yourself.
Born and raised in Southern California. Loving the East Coast.
