10 Struggles Short People Face On A Daily Basis

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

1. Trying to have conversations with tall people and feeling like you’re four years old again with no clue to what’s going on.

2. Anything from a guy friend suddenly becomes ‘oversized’ fashion for you.

3. Absolutely needing to wear heels so that you aren’t that girl in pictures.

4. Having friends tell you, “You’re not short, you’re fun-sized!” Mhmm, okay when you put it that way it’s not so bad.

5. Going shopping for dresses or pants and they either drag on the ground and get nasty or do that scrunchy thing at the bottom.

6. “Why are you walking so slow?” I’m not walking slow hun, your legs are just too long for me.z

7. When your friends use your head or shoulders as an armrest. Um, excuse me, do I look like a chair to you?

8. Being mistaken as way younger than you actually are by anyone and everyone.

9. Being able to get piggyback rides or being picked up without destroying the person holding you up.

10. Out of all of your girlfriends you probably have the most practice and skills when it comes to walking in crazy tall heels.
