HC: How are you involved at USF?
I’m in Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and I’m on the Dancer Relations Committee for Bulls for Kids
Â
HC: When did you join Gamma Phi Beta?
I went through formal recruitment and joined in Fall 2014
Â
HC: What are some of your favorite parts of being in a sorority?
I love how many connections I’ve gotten through being in a sorority, and how many connections I’ve made with other sorority and fraternities on campus. I love my family that I have made, like my big sister and my little sister, and all of the memories we have made and still have to make. I know that I will have those connections and friendships long after college. Gamma Phi has also taught me how to be more confident, and I’ve gotten the opportunity to speak in front of others and be a better public speaker. I’ve gotten a lot of experience with speaking to others and getting to know people through recruitment, as I had a lot of practice with small talk but also getting to know potential new members on a deeper level. I know that I’ll take those qualities to the workforce when I graduate, and far beyond.
Â
HC: What is your dream career?
My dream job is to be a wedding planner. The thought of helping others plan their special day intrigues me and I want to help others and make them happy- plus planning events is really fun for me.
Â
HC: What’s something you like to do for fun?
I love to listen to music, especially country music, music is really imporant to me. I also love to take photos for people, even if it is just for fun, but I like being able to provide photos for others if they need them. For example, I took photos of Sigma Pi Fraternity at a philanthropy event just for fun, but they ended up loving them and wanting to use them
