With summer just around the corner a lot of us are striving to achieve a perfect bikini bod. If you thought that this article was going to have tips on diets and exercise to get in shape, I’m sorry to disappoint you but, that is not what this article is going to be about about at all.
The perfect body isn’t about how it looks, but rather how it feels. A perfect bikini bod is happy, healthy and confident! You don’t have to go to the gym seven days a week or eat an all celery diet to achieve a perfect summer body. All that you have to do is realize that you already have a bikini bod that is #goals! There is no one body type that is perfect. Our society tries to tell us that there is, but that is simply false.
I work as a lifeguard during the summer so I see tons of people in swimsuits all day, every day. Trust me when I tell you that you are the only one that notices the stretch marks on your thighs or that your stomach isn’t perfectly flat. I see tons of young girls wear shorts or stand in the water with their arms crossed over their stomach to cover up their “problem areas” and it breaks my heart. I want to go up to every single one of them and tell them they are beautiful and don’t need to cover up! So that’s exactly what I am here to tell you. Go find a swimsuit that makes you feel like a Victoria’s Secret Angel and strut your stuff!
