Summer Music Festival Fashion Trends

Now that you figured out which music fesitval you want to attend this summer, it’s time to find the perfect outfit. Whether your style is edgy, girly, boho-inspired and/or everything in between, I will share five looks with you that you can recreate for your own perfect concert look!

  • Bohemian-Chic: This is a very popular concert look a lot people can achieve through simple pieces.Think crochet, palazzo pants, tribal prints, fringe and statement jewelry.**PRO TIP: I would refrain from wearing the ever-so-popular bindi. While it is very popular in the bohemian chic trend, it’s cultural appropriation and should not be worn as a fashion statement.**

  • 90s Rocker: This is my personal favorite festival look, I think it adds an edgy and cool feel to anyone who can rock this style. Think distressed/ripped clothing, graphic tees, motorcycle boots, chains and flannels.

  • Indie Cool: This is a very daring and edgy look that is sure to set you apart from the rest! Think colored reflective lens sunglasses, neck scarves, western twist on bohemian fashion, wide-brim hats and vintage clothing.

  • Flower Girl: This is another very popular festival look that is easy to achieve. Think large sunglasses, fun prints, light jewelry, flower crowns and light colored clothing.

  • Rave Chick: This is a popular look amongst ravers a part of rave culture; to be worn to EDM music festivals! Think color, costume themes, kandi (bracelets), micro shorts and rhinestones.

I hope you enjoyed these current trends you can recreate and make your own! If you do find inspiration from this article, be sure to tweet us a picture of your perfect festival look at https://twitter.com/HerCampusTowson! Happy concert-going!
