Her Campus: What made you decide to come to Kent State?
Addy Fenn: Florida does not have any good fashion schools, and my cousin attended Kent State. I decided to take a visit and fell in love with the environment.Â
Â
HC: What do you think are the biggest differences between Florida and Ohio?
AF: The weather! I miss the constant sunny days but I was so excited to see snow for the first time.
Â
HC: Why did you choose the fashion merchandising program here?
AF: I have always passion for fashion and I felt like it was the right major for me. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
Â
HC: How has your experience been as a transfer student?
AF: It has been a great experience and I am so happy that I chose to come to Kent this semester instead of waiting until next year.
HC: What are some of your favorite hobbies?
AF: I enjoy wakeboarding, snowboarding, shopping and walking my dachshund, Tarzan. I like to do crafts and decorate my room.
Â
HC: What made you start modeling?
AF: I have always loved photography and got into modeling because of that. Modeling came naturally to me, and I love being in front of the camera and meeting new people.
HC: What is your dream job?
AF: Something to do with fashion merchandising, maybe a buyer or personal shopper. I would like to move to back to Florida once I graduate to stay by the beach, or maybe head to NYC.
