The Five Stages of Ending A Semester and The Tools to Help You Get Through It

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at OK State chapter.

Phase 1: Killing it

This phase usually occupies the last few Mondays of the semester. You wake up and get to cross off another Monday on your calendar, and jump for joy as you see only “4 Mondays Left!” Only “3 Mondays Left!” So on and so forth. What better way to show your fierceness than with a Milani Eyeliner cat eye? Oh and did we mention it’s sparkly and comes in spectacular shades like turqouise and purple?? And it’s waterproof. #killingit

Phase 2: Eating your feelings

Imagine this: Your best friend offers to buy you a sweet treat from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory after a particularly hard test and you get a little carried away. Unfortunately she didn’t mean you could buy yourself a dozen caramel and chocolate covered apples and then scarf them all down in front of her. You have to pay your friend back and don’t want to make it take forever. That’s where Circle Pay comes in. Circle is a social payment app that lets you send and receive money with just an email or phone number. It’s instant, secure and free! Use it for splitting your restaurant or bar tab, asking mom for textbook cash, paying that dude on Craigslist for Calf Fry tickets, or collecting sorority dues!

Phase 3: When You Want To Run Away

It might take you up until the last week of school to feel this phase but I do promise you that everyone will feel it at one point or another. We all have had the sleep deprived crazed thought, “If I just run away and never come back this final/class/paper/group presentation won’t matter and no one will even miss me!” And while that’s not entirely true (we would miss you!) there is a good idea hiding in that statement. A wonderful alternative to running away from your responsibilities? Studying abroad! And we know just who to help you get there. CEA Study abroad organization is the opportunity for students tot take classes and earn credits around the world. CEA provides programs for US undergrad students for semester, year or summer option. With over 21 locations around the world in 12 different countries, you can take your pick!

Phase 4: Pampering

You know when you physically and mentally are so exhausted that when you’re in the shower, you accidentally use your conditioner first instead of your shampoo? TRESemme has made this a totally acceptable thing now! And it makes your hair soft and volumous to boot! First, the moisturizing pre-wash conditioner softens the hair, then by following with the shampoo to wash away weight, your hair is left with bounce while still controlling static, leaving full-bodied, touchable locks and a salon-quality finish. The next time your friend tells you about showering and washing her hair out of order, don’t laugh at her! Let her know that if she had had the TRESemme Beauty-Full Volume Pre-Wash Conditioner and Shampoo, she wouldn’t need to be hiding her greasy still un-clean hair under a hat that day!

The Ella tote and adorable zip wallet cases will help you show off your lady boss style. Whats better, we’ll be giving away two of these wonderful bags later this week!
