5 Sneakers Every Shoe-Lover Should Own

Every shoe-lover should have a good sneaker collection. Stylish sneakers are a great addition to your Collegiette closet because they are practical, comfortable, and cute.  A bunch of old school sneakers are making a comeback on the streets.  For the perfect laid back outfit pick any of these sneakers, put on your favorite pair of skinny jeans, and tuck in a t-shirt, complete it with either a leather jacket or a flannel.

1. White Canvas Shoes

Damn Daniel! Back at it again with the white vans! White sneakers are a must for the spring/summer.  Canvas sneakers like Vans or Converse goes great with a casual outfit or a little dress . You can choose classic vans like Daniel here, or you can go for either a high or low top converse.  Any of these 3 styles will never go out of style.

2. Nike Running Shoes

As a busy Collegiette, you might not have enough space in your backpack to fit an extra pair of sneakers with you when you head to the gym before class.  Therefore you must invest in a pair of sneakers that has the functionality to let you kill it at the gym but also look stylish on the streets.  A good pair that goes well with everything is a nice, sleek pair of black Nike’s.  If you like color, don’t be afraid to get colored running shoes, the only downside to that is that, it can get quite difficult to make a regular outfit work with neon colors…

Did you know that Puma has a collaboration with Rihanna?  As Rihanna slays in her new Work video, she’s also busy redesigning this classic sneaker by giving it a little bit more oomph with a platform sole. The kicks come in subdued color tones so it will match with a lot of outfits.  Pair them with black skinny’s and a leather jacket to get the total laid-back, cool girl vibe like our girl RiRi.

4. Adidas SuperStars

This original shell-toe design is definitely huge in street-style.  You can either get it in the classic white with black stripes or you can get it all in a crisp, clean white.  Or you can even go with the black with the white stripes.  Either way you will look super fly with these on your feet.  Pair then with slouchy joggers, classic skinny jeans, or a pair of boyfriend jeans with cuffs.

New Balances are making a comeback!  It’s probably because this practical shoe looks great when you’re running errands.  This brand also makes a variety of colors so make sure to have fun and pick a variation that most resembles you!
