Retrospectively, the last two months of school always go by so quickly. But in the moment, those last couple of weeks can feel like forever–waiting for spring break, the actual vacation, waiting for Crawfest, the actual festival, frat and sorority formals, finals, packing… It all adds up and while it can be a ton of fun, it can also be extremely stressful. I’ve enlisted my good friends, the doctors at Sacred Heart Hospital, to help me better explain these conflicting emotions we are all feeling as this academic year comes to a close.
Spring Break:
Class just let out and IT’S OFFICIALLY BREAK!!! Break out the new bikini and show off that hard earned (ABT really kicked your butt this semester) beach bod, girlfriend.
Coming Back From Break:
YOU HAVEN’T SEEN YOUR FRIENDS IN OVER A WEEK OMG THERE’S SO MUCH TO CATCH UP ON AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!
Classes in April:
Your teachers are all like, “now seems like a fair time to assign you EVERY ASSIGNMENT I COULD EVER ASSIGN EVER” before Crawfest and Jazz Fest and you’re sittin’ there likeÂ
Drowning in Howie T for the 5th Night in a Row And Realizing Everything You Thought You Knew is…
But you turn it in and do better than you expected to:
THEN IT’S FINALLY CRAWFEST AND YOU FEAST LIKE A QUEEN (gimme ALL the potatoes!!!!!!):
Trying to finish your date’s cooler for frat formal in time:
Then rollin’ up to your own formal like:
Finally, it’s Jazz Fest time!! You show up in your cutest outfit ready to ~dance the day away~ but soon you’re drenched in sweat and miserable because:
Actually, just in general for the last two months you’re constantly crying on the inside because:
(so good I had to use it twice, sorry not sorry.)
You walk into your first final feeling very unprepared:
And you leave your last final feeling more sleep deprived and even dumber than you did for the first one:
BUT IT’S OVER!!!!
YOU MADE IT!!!!
