Dear Roomie,
When I came to college I was so scared that things weren’t going to work out, that I wasn’t going to make any new friends. On top of that I was going to end up going home because I felt left out, but then I met you. We’ve been roommates now for a while, and freshman year you were basically the third roommate with my high school best friend and I, and I wouldn’t change any of it.
Many people believe in soul mates, and I believe we have multiple in our lives. You are that piece of my soul that I was missing. Our brains just click. I could say the absolute weirdest thing that honestly doesn’t make any sense, but then you’re like, “Oh! I get it!” and vice versa.
I’m glad I’ve found someone else who’s passionate about sprawling out on the floor just because it looks comfortable and who shares my love for spinning around in circles until we crash into someone (or something).
And who would I go to raves with if you weren’t here? I thoroughly enjoy our deep conversations while we both lay in bed and stare at the ceiling and making ourselves look like idiots is my favorite past time.
Don’t even get me started on the tumblr posts and vine videos that make us cry laughing on the daily.
I’m happy to have someone who enjoys the finer things in life, like buffalo sauce and doughnuts and not going to the gym when we swear to ourselves we’re going to.
Our need for adventure makes us the perfect match, so let’s start the countdown to Spring Break!
