Everyone knows that both Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl are the greatest gifts that young adult authors have given us. The books, and later, television series, gave us guilty pleasures to binge watch (and, if we’re going to be honest, we’re still watching to this day).
Well, mark your calendars, because we’re getting a new book trilogy in September 2016 coming from the same masterminds that brought us those great shows: Alloy Entertainment. The series, and the first book in the set, will be called The Thousandth Floor.
Like GG, the series will follow the most elite and wealthy group of teenagers living in New York City in the year 2118. The future of NYC is an iconic tower with, you guessed it, a thousand floors.
So, we get where the GG influences are, but what will happen that’s more like Pretty Little Liars? (Hopefully it’ll be the envy-inducing outfits.) Luckily, the trilogy already has a TV series lined up, so we’ll have even more to binge soon.
