Every girl likes to be wined and dined, but a more meaningful gesture touches her heart. One of my most romantic dates was actually a picnic in the park. Luckily for Georgia Southern Students, you don’t have to travel far to get a beautiful view because every inch of campus has been charmingly maintained. Spring is right around the corner. Flowers are beginning to appear all over campus, so why not enjoy the scenery with a picnic?

Outside the Art Building is a very small, but efficient area. Ideally, couples can visit the art gallery, and then enjoy a nice uninterrupted lunch together. (There’s also sculpture art outside).

I almost missed this area altogether; I would’ve never known it existed. Behind the College of Business Administration, you’ll find it. This area resembles a quaint courtyard.

Have a picnic observing the beautiful scenery of the plants and animals around you while enjoying the company of your significant other, or grab a group of friends and catch up. Friends plus food and a great view always equals a good time. (Across from the Henderson Library).

There’s something about the ambience of Sweetheart Circle that just gets to you. This is definitely the go-to spot for a picnic on campus.

Grab a blanket, fill up a basket, and watch the chemistry amongst you and your partner unfold on Sweetheart Circle.
