The Beanpot Championship Game

Well, Terriers, it’s been a week, but the epic Battle of Comm. Ave. still weighs on our scarlet hearts. BU Men’s Ice Hockey suffered a tough loss against Boston College on Monday, February 8. Even though the game was heartbreaking, it was an historic event to say the least.

The game, pitting rivals BU and BC against one another, had a consistent score of 0-0 for three straight periods, until BC scored the winning goal two minutes into a rare sudden death overtime. Good news: BU Senior goalie Sean Maguire was awarded both the Eberly Award and the Beanpot MVP! No matter what happens next February, we’re always #ProudtoBU. 

 

Jessica is a senior at Boston University, studying in the School of Communication with a major in Mass Communication, a minor in Cinema & Media Studies and is on the Pre-Law Track. She made the move from Westchester, NY to Boston, and is living in a constant fear of the impending winter. When not in class, she could be found obsessing over Harry Potter or Buffy the Vampire Slayer, making poorly timed puns, or drinking an excess of tea.
