Valentine’s day with our students: The Good , The Bad, The Funny and The Ugly.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Albizu chapter.

With Valentine’s day a few hours away, we decided to ask our students for stories about past Valentine’s Days with their exes.   We found cute stories, funny ones and others that made us realize what kind of people our friends are (hahaha), but it doesn’t matter how you celebrate V’Day or with who, but for you to be happy.  Enjoy the stories we gathered for you:

1. “When I was in the 9th grade, I broke up with my boyfriend?”
2. “ My freshman year of college, I had a guy friend that was in love with me and on Valentine’s day, he went to my house at about 4:00 in the morning and left me a teddy bear with flowers and chocolates before I woke up, and I didn’t know what to do.”
3. “ My ex came to my house in the afternoon and brought me a bouquet of roses.  We stayed for a while talking while my parents were watching us saying we were cute.  Good memories, it was a long time ago.”
4. “ So my birthday is a day after Valentine’s day and I remember that day I didn’t want to go anywhere because  I wasn’t feeling well, but he insisted on taking me to my favorite restaurant. We ended up at my house and he filled my room with balloons and gifts, it was unbelievable.”
5. “ So, we went out to eat and after talking for hours, I told him I had a gift for him and gave him a box of chocolates with a note asking him if he wanted to be my boyfriend. He got embarrassed and told me that was his job.  At the end of the day, he kissed me and he still calls me every now and then, even after years.”
6. “ Two flower bouquets and a chocolate arrangement , not bad for high school.”
7. “ I took advantage of a guy that had a crush on me since elementary school. In the 10th grade and on Valentine’s Day, there was a pizza sale at my school and I forgot to bring money, so, I told him that if he bought me pizza, I would be his girlfriend. Enough to say that after I ate the pizza, I told him we shouldn’t date anymore.”
8. “ I was with my girlfriends celebrating Valentine’s day at a restaurant and we saw one of my exes with his new girl.   We went to the pharmacy, bought a dozen of eggs and while he was at the restaurant, we threw the eggs at his car.  Guess that date didn’t end
up very well.”
