What are three words you would use to describe yourself?
Independent, ambitious, helpful.

What’s your favorite feature about yourself?
I can always find the positive in any situation!

What advice would you give to young girls?
I would tell young girls that you can do absolutely anything in life. There will be setbacks, but you can overcome them. Hard work, dedication, and optimism will help make your dreams come true.

How do you define “beautiful”?
“Beautiful” is someone with a smile on their face, who follows their passions and who has a huge heart.

Who was the best female role model for you when growing up and why?
In the fifth grade, I did a research paper on Eleanor Roosevelt and I admired her strength, perseverance and, most of all, her leadership. She inspired me to live my life to the fullest and to always fight for what I believe in.

What’s the best thing about being a woman in your opinion?
The best thing about being a woman is that you can be a boss and a lady at the same time and rock at both!

What’s one challenge you’ve faced as a woman? How did you combat it?
One challenge I’ve faced as a woman is that society often thinks that we’re physically, emotionally, and mentally weak, which is not true at all. We have the ability to carry life for nine months and then give birth to it, defying the physical stereotype, and we’re just as emotionally and mentally strong as males. We have the power to do anything we want to do in life, despite our gender.

What’s one stereotype about females that you want to counteract?
We don’t all fall for bad boys. Most of the time, we want a good, kind-hearted gentleman.

What are your #goals for the future?
My #goals for the future are to travel, graduate, and become the CEO of my own fashion company someday and to live a happy and healthy life!

Why do you #LoveYourself?
I #LoveMyself because I never let anything stop me from achieving my dreams. I am glad to say that, so far, I’ve done everything that I want in life because I’m not afraid to put myself out there because I know that I deserve fulfillment and happiness.

Rachel is a senior at Drexel University majoring in Design & Merchandising. She dreams of traveling the world and loves to learn about new cultures and languages.
