Lasell College can be pretty boring on a Friday night if you don’t have a car on campus. Lucky for you, this Friday you can get out of your dorm room and participate in an event you’ll feel good about. Lasell’s very own Hope for Humanity and Fashion Connection Club are hosting “Flip Flops for Haiti,” an event which will benefit 66 children at the Be Like Brit Orphanage in Haiti. Each volunteer will be given a name and age of a child and get to decorate a custom pair of flip flops for them. The event will be held from 7pm to 9pm in deWitt Hall and snacks will be provided!

Katelynn, Lasell's chapter treasurer, is a Fashion Communication and Promotion major at Lasell with a double minor in Graphic Design and Event Management. She just returned from a semester abroad in Florence, Italy and this is her second year writing for Her Campus Lasell. Along with being a part of Graphic Design League, POLISHED Magazine, Hope For Humanity, and the Lasell College Honors Program, Katelynn is a lover of cats and vegan food.
