On Friday December 4, ASLMU put on their annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony and ever since, the tree has been lit. Located in Regents Terrace in front of the Chapel, the tree stands as a symbol of friendship and community as LMU students gathered together that night to watch it come to life. The tree also helps in reminding us that the holidays are quickly approaching! Before we can enjoy our celebrations and binge eating all the yummy food, we have to get through finals. Well, here is my suggestion to all of you going through finals week: look upon that Christmas tree as a motivation and know that soon you will be home amongst your loved ones standing and looking up at your own Christmas tree. Happy Holidays everyone, and safe travels home!
