Winter is coming, and with that comes finals, Christmas and the closing of the death stairs. It’s hard to get in the holiday spirit while isolated on a mountain (I’m from a city so I’m used to seeing signs of Christmas all over the streets). So why not bring Christmas to Lehigh? Below is a list of places to get that “Ugly Christmas Sweater” that will actually be the coziest study must have. Ugly Christmas Sweaters get a bad rep. People of all ages should embrace the ugliness, since seeing someone wearing a Rudolph red sweater with a 3D polar bear and sewn on jingle bells really does brighten ones day. There are a range of ugly Christmas sweaters, if you’re one to really embrace the horror of it than look at the ones with Christmas motifs on it, to be ironic try Urban and to be subtle look at the ugly patterns, there really is an ugly Christmas sweater for everyone, you just need to look within and find that inner Christmas elf. Side Note-For some reason the Men’s section always seems to have more and better selections than the women’s and the case is true of [ugly] Christmas Sweaters. Urban Outfitters definitely supports this (the women’s section has about 3 choices). While on the topic of Urban Outfitters, if you really want to get in the holiday spirit, buy the holiday socks (cause who doesn’t want Meowy Christmas or menorah adorned socks?).
