I have never had test anxiety until I came to Pepperdine. I have always been a good student. Yet something changed when I transferred to Pepperdine. I have very strong opinions about the way professors test here or teach, but I’ll keep that to myself for now. Most students will agree that sometimes we learn but not completely learn. We study not to learn, but only to pass. It’s been on an ongoing issue with many students including myself. I do not study to learn, I study to pass my classes. This is unfortunate because I love learning, but the professors here sometimes move through the material so quickly that I do not get a chance to learn what I am interested in, or learn to understand better. It seems all I can do for now is just to try my hardest to learn better at the rate my professor teaches.
