Autumn is in full swing. The sun swings low early in the day, the leaves fall slow on the wind of the coming winter days. As the horizon stretches into itself to form deep, dark, long nights, we wrap ourselves up in knitted warmth and the facade of burnt orange promises of crisp happiness and bundled cheer. But remember that even the steadfast trees start to lose themselves in the fall, so its okay if the filtered pictures of fall leaves and red cups aren’t reflective of where you are or how you feel. Just remember that even though the night is long, the dawn is near.Â
