Normally during the cold winter months, it can be lonely without someone special by your side to cuddle with. I’ll admit, I have felt that way too. I have been envious of girls being in serious relationships and I’m the single on out of the bunch. Have no fear, everyone feels this way from time to time so it is nothing to be ashamed of. Sometimes us girls just need to feel wanted and confident. Although I do enjoy the idea of having someone to cuddle with at the end of the night, I do enjoy being alone binge watching my favorite TV shows with a bucket of popcorn by my side, the perks of the single life. There are many ways for people, especially girls, to get through “cuffing season” as its been called.

First things first, scope out the single guys at a party and see one that looks worth while. Have the guts to introduce yourself if the guy is alone without his “buddies” by his side. It can be a bit less intimidating if you follow that route. Then when you get comfortable he will see it and want to know more about you and possibly ask you out. This could also be just a friendship that can grow into a relationship. You never know. This is a good step towards a serious relationship for those of you who desire such a thing.

Make sure you’re both on the same page, we’re too old for games. Guys; mature guys, like a woman who is serious and wants to have a good time. They don’t like girls who play that game. It is important to note that being in a serious relationship is hard work, sometimes it is better for you at that time to be single and not tied down to a relationship. Whether you’d like to hear it or not being single has it’s benefits. You only have to worry about yourself!

Go through this process with a bunch of friends that can make things easier for you if you choose, instead of doing it alone. It can be draining on a person if they decide they want to search for a relationship and they don’t have any support or a shoulder to lean on. Cuffing season should not be so bad if you follow these helpful hints and advice! Wishing all you girls the best of luck this winter season!
