Hometowns: Angie is from LA, and Micaela is from San Francisco.
School: Both are sophomores in Columbia College.
Majors: Angie is a Political Science major, and Micaela is an Urban Studies major.
Campus Activities:
Angie: I am part of the Multicultural Recruitment Committee, Professional Film Society, and a sorority.
Micaela: I am in a sorority.
Where and how did you two meet?
Both:We met the third night of NSOP. We both ended up going to the same cheesy party by NYU. We were both sitting down, and so we started talking!
Choose one word to describe each other: We need more than A WORD!!!
Angie: Micaela is humble, kind and full of life! She brightens a room when she walks into it.
Micaela: Angie is the epitome of what you look for in a best friend. She is insightful, gives the best advice, and is beyond considerate. Everyone wants to be in her presence!
Best thing about being roommates:
Angie: Spontaneous dance parties (we love music), getting to decorate our piece of home away from home together, and projector movie nights.
Micaela: We never clash on music except when Angie plays Jack Johnson.
What is your craziest memory together?
Both: Can’t say, but it was last night!
Favorite music to play together:
Angie: Lauryn Hill, Frank Ocean, J. Cole, and the Weeknd.
Micaela: Aaliyah and Little Dragon.

What qualities do you look for in a partner?
Angie: I look for someone who is funny, kind, loves life, and will stay up talking with me all night.
Micaela: I look for someone who is spontaneity, has perspective, and will go to the movies any day/anytime.
What are the deal breakers?
Angie: No sense of humor. :(
Micaela: Being selfish and not listening to hip-hop!
What is your ideal date?
Angie: Cooking, playing music, and goofing off!
Micaela: Going to a Warriors game!

Both: Not sure, but we definitely got Westside soup samples after it.

Both: Late night hot chocolate and whipped cream!
Any advice for freshman looking for bffs:
Angie: Look for friends who you admire! Be yourself and be open.
Micaela: Put yourself out there, make the first move if you want to hangout, and surround yourself with people who truly want the best for you. It matters!
